Purple Glazer is a hardneck garlic of the Glazed Purple Stripe variety. It averages 6-9 cloves per bulb. Purple Glazer wrappers are white with deep purple/burgundy stripes with silver undertones and almost pure purple skin around the cloves. It stores 4-6 months under proper storage conditions.
Flavour: Purple Glazer has warm, rich and sweet flavour. It has medium spice and is excellent for eating raw. A great roasting garlic as it holds its texture and flavour. Excellent for baking, such as rustic breads.
Growing Conditions: Purple Glazer grows well in most climates although thrives in cold winters.
