Deerfield is a hardneck garlic to the Rocambole variety. It averages 8-11 medium cloves per bulb. Deerfield wrappers are white with attractive purple streaks and brownish purple skin around the cloves. Stores about 6-8 months under proper conditions.

Flavour: Deerfield garlic has a rich and complex character. It starts off mild and finishes with a rich, spicy, lingering garlic flavour. A choice for roasting due to the high sugar levels.

Growing Conditions: Deerfield grows best in cold climates as it requires a period of cold winter.
